WP Backup Monitor is an internal backup and security monitoring tool used by the website owner to protect WordPress websites, database backups, and uploaded media files.

Information the tool accesses

The tool may access Google Drive only for backup operations requested by the website owner. It can create backup files, read backup file metadata, compare backup status, and delete old backup files according to the retention policy.

How information is used

Google Drive access is used only to upload WordPress database backups and uploads backups to the selected Google Drive folder, verify that backups were created successfully, and remove old backup files after the configured retention period.

Data sharing

Backup data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties. Access is limited to the website owner, the authorized Google account, and the technical administrator responsible for maintenance.

Data retention and deletion

The backup system keeps recent backup files only for the configured retention period. Older backup files are automatically removed from Google Drive. The website owner can revoke Google Drive access at any time from Google Account security settings.

Google API Limited Use disclosure

WP Backup Monitor use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
